Patterns are usually thought of in terms of fabric, wallpaper, carpet, wrapping paper... Chocolate provides such an excellent canvas for very detailed and beautiful work. While on my road trip north last week, I found a chocolate shop with some very pretty designs on a larger chocolate surface (top left).. the colors and larger designs really caught my eye..
With a stencil to make things easier, painting pieces for a party or a gift seems like a fun idea... I'm thinking similar to screen printing, you could use a different stencil for each color made from acetate for the design. (Let me know if it's still fun if you try it out..)

Hi,
These look really neat.
I could send some chocolates with some paintings and a marketing sentence.
Of course that I would have to use acrylic or oil paint, which might be a bit indigistive... :-)
Have a nice weekend,
José
Huh...I meant indigestive :-)
